About The Political Communication Graduate Program

Our era invites exciting questions on nation-states and the global information revolution. How do communication technologies redefine social concepts such as leadership, institutional trust, solidarity, and cultural similarity?

Political communication focuses on the intersection between communication and politics and their effects on public opinion, persuasion and attitude change. The political communication graduate program at the Hebrew University provides students with theoretical and methodological tools from both fields, and offers courses in political psychology, information processing, political rhetoric, and campaigns.

The program encourages students to develop a profound understanding of the mutual influences between politics, communication, and society. This joint program in the political science and communication departments at the Hebrew University invites top graduate students to become the next leaders of this field in Israel.
